History
The car was bought complete, but in some pieces in the mid 80's. The interior had been pulled out, with the dash being disconnected from the wiring harness and all ancillaries with the aid of tin snips by the look of it. The car was then
completely dismantled to every nut and bolt. The engine was reconditioned, all chrome was redone and the body scraped clean of it's 12 previous colour coats. it was originally a JPS livery. The restoration spanned 10 years, and was completed in August 1998, just in time for the Lotus 50th anniversary event at Eastern Creek which it attended. It was on full rego until 2006 when it went onto club rego.
Modifications
The only modification to the car is the outer drive shafts with doughnuts which have been replaced with a CV setup from the Elan Factory in Melbourne, and an electric ignition module sourced from A Series Spares in the UK.
