History
I restored this bike in 2012
The Mk 11 Frontera was released in 1978 and it embodies the evolution of enduro motorcycles of the period.It followed on from the Mk9 & 10 and was basically the last of Bultaco’s enduro bikes.
A Mk12 was released but it was simply a white version of this bike.
Modifications
The Frontera has an upgraded CDI ignition and electrical system which supplies 12vdc in place of the original 6 volt ac system.
This allows for the provision of a battery and much better lighting including LED stop/tail and indicators.
