History
I owned this car from Nov 2009 until July 2013. A late X300 4.0 litre, it was built in the last 6 weeks of production and benefitted from years of development and good late-model specifications plus a factory sunroof, lacking only the traction control of it’s Sovereign brethren (and all the better, in my view, for having a bit less chrome!). I was the car’s third owner. It had originally been delivered in Hobart, and then travelled with its retired second owner to the Gold Coast. I bought it there and shipped it to Perth. It was very reliable throughout my ownership and still in beautiful conditon with only 89k on the clock when I sold it to buy a 2003 X350. These cars are amazing value for money now and, contrary to many people’s prejudices, are well built and dependable. With proper maintenance from a Jaguar specialist (I use and highly recommend Roadbend in Perth) they will run and run.
Modifications
