History
The car was built in 1968 but imported to Australia in the late 1960s and registered as a 1967 model (presumably to avoid import duty ...). Originally LHD, it was converted by the factory to RHD before being exported from Italy. It was originally dark green but was resprayed to an approximation of a burgundy red Maserati factory colour when it was rebuilt in Perth in the 1990s. The mechanicals and interior were completely original when I sold the car in 2005. Last known to have been registered in WA with the plate '67 QP' (in honour of it's rego date, not the build date as I later discovered!).
