This Renault 10 was my first car,purchased brand new in December 1968,from Tony Capraro Motors in Unanderra N.S.W. I remember my father came home from work driving a borrowed Renault Dauphine. I was only about 8 years old ,and I can recall falling in love with that car.By the time I was old enough to drive I had lost my dad,so had no one to advise me about cars. Against everyones wishes I wanted a Renault 10. I loved that car too,with wonderful seats,4 wheel disc brakes and a crank handle to start the motor if required. It had a few quirky things,with a difficult floor mounted gear change,spare wheel which was under the boot at the front of the car and fuel filler under the rear engine cover. No car radio did not impress me. I had that car for 15 years and it never let me down. And so my love affair with Renault cars continues, having owned five of them over the years, with a Renault Koleos being our current vehicle. Cheers Froggie
