History
Sent from the Veloce UK factory to The Standard Cycle Co. Hong Kong on Feb. 11, 1966.
Modifications
Was a Venom Special with fibreglass engine covers/fairings. Purists may despair because it now has electric start and alternator; indicators; 12volt electrics and coil electronic ignition; Smiths Classic electronic tacho; new alloy rims, stainless spokes and upgraded brakes. New Amal concentric carburettor with teflon spacer. See oil tap - stops any tendency for wet sumping when bike left standing for a week or more. Very easy to start and to ride - front brake fierce. Tank is missing perimeter pin stripe. Aluminium tank dress strips and knee pads removed. Bike now resides in Queensland and is a VOCA member.
