History
This was a BMC Company car - as an ex-employee I was able to get it for my parents to replace an XL Falcon Wagon. It was their first car with carpets, heater, electric wipers and so comfortable they couldn’t believe it. I took it over from my mum in 1978 - she described its road holding as ’it sits on the road like a broody hen’ and I have owned it since. It has now done about 120,000 miles, mostly trouble free. Simply my favourite car of all time.
