History
As a BMC employee at the Sydney factory, and after a good deal of research from the engineering department, where I learned all the problems of very early 1800s, this 1966 example came my way. It originally had a sun-visor which made it look like the Evan Green/Gelignite Jack Murray 1800 which did the Crossroads Alice epic in late 1965. Few problems apart from the odd oil-leak and I did replace the CVs. My first decent car which provided some rapid interstate trips and a double bed for the night! It was also used to transport some of the London-Sydney Marathon crews from Warwick Farm. Sadly traded for a Qantas return ticket to the UK in 1970. This car inspired my family to buy another four of them. The pic was taken in the BMC employees' car park at Zetland.
