Build Date; 5th November 1966.
Location; Dearborn Plant, Michigan USA, the initial order for the car was from district 34 which is Indianapolis,we believe this car spent most of its years in the State of Connecticut from items we found in the car after import.
You may’ve noticed the side badge, the "A" in the GT/A badge refers to “Select-Shift Cruise-o-Matic”.
1967 was the only year for the GTA, which was a Mustang GT with an automatic C4 transmission. They were available in 3 models coupe, fastback, or convertible and with either the 289 or a 390 engine.
This cars power plant is a 289cid Windsor engine fitted with a Holley 600, Hooker extractors, Edelbrock manifold and full 2” balanced exhaust system, transmission is a three speed C4.
Only 4,848 luxury convertibles were produced in 1967, so this is quite a rare car as only a handful were produced compared to the other models.
You will also notice that this car is original Left Hand Drive and has a “Turn signal hood” and deluxe interior again very rare.
The car was left to rot sometime in the 80’s and was found in a barn. it was partially restored over 2013/16. The red is not an original Ford colour but a Mini colour and was painted this colour during it’s rebuild which was partially completed in completed in Florida before export.

The car departed the US from the port of Long Beach California on the Cargo Vessel “Siangtan” May 2017, It was imported into Australia via Melbourne in June that year.
