History
I gained my licence in late 1971 and purchased my Blue Mk.2 Ford Cortina in early 1972. She was a 440 model with a 1600cc engine and a 4-speed floor shift. I used and abused her until trading her in around 1976. We had lots of fun together and she was the ideal first car to own.
Modifications
Wide wheels and tyres were the only options.
