History
I was inspired to drive a Ram whilst renting these in the USA years ago and driving them many miles there. When the Hemi V8 was made available in Australia, I always wanted one. The Laramie Ram has a sporty feel - unlike the squarer more boxy type competitors. The 5.7 Hemi V8 is stock in the Ram @ 395hp. With the addition of the incredible "no drone" Borla twin exhaust, 400hp would be the minimum realistic figure and performs better than most cars, and nicely through the 8 speed transmission.
I purchased this vehicle in the ACT, after trading the VF HSV. The HSV was an amazing car, but have no regrets going to the Ram. The Ram is the Laramie, so all the trimmings are included. Such as Air Conditioned front and rear seats, Sunroof, stitched leather interior, heated steering wheel. The Ram Laramie is a sensational vehicle and it eats up the country kays that we do travelling for Classic Restos with ease.
See the Blue Ram Big Horn that I drove in Carlisle Pennsylvania for 10 weeks back in 2015. This was the Ram that inspired me. That was the same year I acquired my 1972 Cadillac Calais from Gettysburg Pennsylvania...my 1st U.S import...parked along side in my motel carpark.
Modifications
