History
This car is a replica of how the Dart GT Sport would have looked back in the day in the USA. It hosts a 1968 - 340 block, taken out to 416 cubes. Valves are opened & closed via a roller camshaft, and it takes its breath through a Holley 750 HP carb, sitting above an M1 intake. This stroker 340 spins up 433hp @ 5200 rpm, along with 480 ft lbs of torque at just 3900 rpm. The power output is virtually 'stock' 426 HEMI, in a drastically reduced weight package. In America, these cars used to race under the banner of 'Super Stock'.
Again, this car was originally an amazing body. There were only 2 spots of rust as big as the end of your little finger in each lower corner of the rear screen. The floor pan of the car – pristine. The car was stripped to a shell, and rebuilt. Every component of this vehicle has been replaced. It has been on the road 10 years, having travelled around 20,000km since the build.
This is another car that is welcome to stay with Fletch, great car to drive, an awesome package.
