"Barn find" from the Riverina, this Landy has been in an enclosed shed on a farm for about 30 years.
The build number of this vehicle tells us that it was the 26th Land Rover built in 1949 for export to Australia.
It was probably imported for use on the Snowey Mountains Hydro Electricity construction.
