Modifications
Nil modifications, rebuilt with original A12 (matching numbers. Ground up engine rebuild dressed up nicely with twin Webers and some nice genuine Datsun / Nismo parts. Restored the original Datsun valve cover and painted it the same Chev orange as the engine block. Went with all genuine Datsun parts to keep original - pistons, A12T head, gaskets, valves, GX double valve springs, new but original Datsun camshaft. Except for the Webers (Australian A12T came with twin Hitachi / SU’s), I have tried to rebuild it as you could find an original factory Australian delivered engine in its day. Since photos, I have started to restore some Datsun alloy wheels to replace the Simmons in the pics.
