Brought the vehicle about 5 years ago and the cam lobes went not too long after I purchased it and bit the bullet and sent it to Power Torque Engines for a rebuild and upgrades, lol. I love my ute it is my pride and joy.
Modifications
Well she is lowered on 18" chrome rims. Engine work done; full rebuild, 232/234 Pro Comp Cam, 3500 Stall Converter, 2.5" Twin Sports Exhaust System, Over the radiator cold air intake, Mafless Tune, Reconditioned diff with 3.91:1 ratio. High performance oil pump,etc. Have done a few other mods, like put a decent stereo system in it so I could hear it, lol, I will upload a pic once I get a decent one put on this computer.
After the rebuild we did put it on the dyno and the readings were 792NM@96KPH torque and power was 254KW@162KPH. I wanna do a dyno again now that the engine is run in and see what sort of power it really is pumping out. I suppose the next thing I want to do to it is port and polish heads. Then maybe give it a new paint and do something different with the interior.
