somewhere (Maybe) . This one was sold and shipped to Australia in 1966 / 7 . First registered in 1967 somehow as a Chev C10 van and has been on full rego ever since .
In the late 80's the vehicle was stripped of it's motor , gearbox and diff by some low life's in Artarmon NSW when parked at a film office over the weekend , this is when the 400 motor was fitted , another Turbo 400 transmission and a cut down 9' Non limited slip diff .
We Purchased the vehicle in 1991 in need of some love .
Over the years it has been fitted with C 20 front disc brakes , power steering . The motor has had a freshening up with re build heads and cam and a few
other bits and pieces like tyres , brakes and steering but basically that is it .
It also now has Mercedes bucket seats , Mercedes Benz hub caps , indicators , instruments and key operated ignition .
Around 1992 it was defected by a North Shore Highway patrol women who was convinced it was a mini moke and that mini mokes did nit come out with a V8

Over the pits in Botany NSW it went , it was knocked back on a diff pinion oil seal and a tie rod end boot.
At this point it was realised it was not a C 10 Chev van .
The inspectors were so impressed or confused not quite sure which one and after many questions about what is was and what was it build for it's new title was born.
