History
After a trip around Australia in my road registered clubman i managed to talk a couple of mates into helping me build another clubbie just for competition and the Fidini is the result. It has competed in Regularity at Bathurst and Mallala, hillclimbs in SA and Vic and supersprints at Mallala.
Modifications
The nose design came about because the standard clubbie nose cone we had didn't quite fit, so knowing that we would have to do some fibreglassing we went all out and the nose shown in the photo is the result.
The car has a DeDion rear axle with a sliding block lateral locating system based on a similar setup on the Lister Jaguar sports racers of the 1950s.
