History
Took ownership march 2014, engine has been rebuilt twice with some mild porting , unsure of exact mileage since last rebuild, est. 40,000km ago - Runs smooth as silk.
-Oil cooler mount had broken and cooler dropped, causing the corner of the cooler to grind through, frequent oil top ups on the 2h drive home! - Has been replaced with aluminium mounts and brand new cooler.
-Leaking gearbox fluid from extension housing, replaced the seal, still leaked so had to purchase new Driveshaft/yoke to stop this.
Modifications
-Interior and all trim + 2 mint doors came piled in boot of car so I stripped interior, brand new carpet in the front, resprayed all interior consoles black, dash mat to hide unrepairable cracks :( just need panel to replace the whole left by standard tape deck (did not come with car).
-All rust has been cut and welded from rear qtrs and in front of rear wheels, Body is now straight, bogged and sporting ugly grey primer, still working on Group C front bar but as it’s fiberglass there is no rush to stop rust. As soon as the weather warms it will be receiving a coat of dark charcoal matte paint that will serve for a year or 2 until I save for a professional high gloss Ducati red final paint job.
-car has 2.5" extractors back exhaust with a 3" hotdog into small muffler at the back, about to have all gaskets checked and high flow cat installed as car is a little smelly.
-Currently has after market 15" wheels but looking to get 15" symmons hotwire style wheels, black spokes with chrome lip.
-Boot will be lined with all new black carpet and a rounded box where rear seats normally go with 2 6x9 speakers and a removable door for easy access to fuel pump.
-Have small Group C rear wing to install, also looking to get small flares
