History
I purchased the rigid frame, engine and gearbox in the USA, matching numbers, all original and imported into Aus with import certificates. The original Harley springer front end was found in NT.
The wheels are original Invader wheels from the USA (not copies) custom order in the late 70's when the original Hot Rodding of bikes started.
Front is 23", rear is 15" made for a custom chopper back then. The original purchaser passed away before the bike could be finished and the wheels stayed in his shed all that time till found in 2014 still coated with the original grease. No hubs had ever been installed, these wheels were brand new.
Promptly shipped to Australia where I continued the panhead build over the next 4 years.
The engine was stripped and rebuilt as was the gearbox. An oversize kicker shaft with bearing, also manufactured by HD at the time was also installed to ensure no future problems. Some brass and copper work was added to enhance the feature of the bike as was the 3" primary drive.
It's just a pleasure to ride.
