History
Purchased from original owners 6 years ago as a non goer last registered in 2005. I believe it was a private import when new.
Back on road since 2009 with new engineers certificate, electrical work, brake refurbishment, headlight vacuum system repairs, new (original) suspension bushes/joints, ignition system sorted, general service, clean (goodbye to mice!) and detail. Original condition. Reliable daily driver at present. Try to avoid rain as they had a terrible reputation for chassis rust!
2012/13 new radiator core, front to rear coolant pipes and hoses replaced, new water pump. New clutch cylinders both ends and new hydraulic line between. New starter motor.
2014 LH driveshaft replaced - note series one and two shafts are different and are not interchangeable - don’t believe any other advice. New rear hatchback glass (ebay) imported from the UK - a small part of a breakers car lives on, new interior light and rear hatch door release repaired.
Modifications
Non original wheels Cheviot period mags. Any original Matra wheels around?
Electric fuel pump.
