History
EFC 1.0 started life as a 1975 Nota Formula Vee.
We like the idea of rebirthing cars rather than new ones, as we use zero emissions electric power.
Modifications
The car was converted to electric with an Advanced Motors & Drives (AMD) #FB1-4001 motor and EVnetics Soliton1 controller.
We have researched the worldââ¬â¢s best batteries and management systems and our choice will give us five and a half times the range with a weight reduction of 50 kgs. This will enable us to compete head-to-head with petrol racing cars.
We are currently raising the $17,000 required for this cutting edge technology.
We use EFC 1.0 as a test bed so we can extrapolate the data for developing EFC 2.0 - the Dallara IndyCar.
