History
Found my old girl in a paddock near Bathurst and rebuilt her. The only original steel replaced was the floor pans, only because they weren’t there anymore. This Ek has been fully registered from 2000. All of the chrome on her is original, just polished up. The original 138 was replaced with a hot 186 with a 4 speed manual box, HR buckets ( most uncomfortable seat I have sat in ) and centre console/heater were fitted.
In the first year of her new life she won best street machine at the Orange Rod S & S, and also best modified EK at the FB/EK nats at Taree.
Modifications
In 2009 got bored with the 186/4 speed. They were replaced with a Commodore V6 and a T5 manual g/box. A 308 limited slip diff was also fitted. Front brakes were upgraded from HR discs to larger HZ rotors/calipers, rear brakes were unchanged from LJ Torana drums. A twin 2" exhaust with Chevy droppers was hand made and fitted to give her a non V6 note.
The HR buckets were replaced with Mazda 929 buckets meaning a full interior colour change.
