Australian Built 1927 with a Holden "Camping " body No. 1773 Sold by L A Cheney Pty Ltd Flinders Street Melbourne.. exported back to UK in 2004-5 .. Believed to have been owned by a Sydney Morris Club member in the late 1990`s Chassis / frame no D179141
Any information on prior history welcome. after investigation engine is from 1925 Oxford . No 113452 type CE
Modifications
bare metal strip to remove approx 3/8inch of wompo ( body filler ), large amount of lower body panels cut out and replaced to remove metal moth ,some parts of wooden frame replaced. repainted with Jotun marine paints for best protection, colours to my choice as not able to identify original as car had been stripped and repainted in past. Many thanks to those in Australia who sent me pictures and dimensions of various body parts so I could fabricate unobtainable spares.
