History
The car was built in Sydney at the Pagewood factory. It was sold new in Bathurst where it lived its entire life until 2007 when bought by Matt who lived in Newtown. The engine was stripped and rebuilt in 2008. We spotted the car on the street with a for sale sign and that was it. We purchased the car November 2009. The rust was already bubbling up so in 2012 we had the rust cut out, a few panels replaced and some new ones (tailgate, scuttle). and the car re-sprayed to keep her going for a few more years. While not a daily driver, the Kingswood is our chore car - shopping, dogs, beach, tip! In a few years time we’ll take her off the road for a full restoration.
