History
I purchased the vehicle around 2004. almost finished restoration.
The vehicle is still LHD and was purchased new from Tipton Ford in Brownsville Texas. It then made its way to California where i purchased it from.
I have a Marty report showing production dates and all options the vehicle was ordered with.
It was ordered as a
1969 Ford Torino GT Sportsroof(fastback), 302 windsor, C4 automatic Transmission, Wimbledon White, selectaire air conditioning, Black bucket seats and centre console, White side wall tires, rear parcel shelf speaker kit.
all 1969 Torino GT’s came from the factory with the 302 windsor, You could option the 428 Cobra jet for an extra $125 US dollars although the original owner optioned Air Conditioning for an extra $375 US dollars. go figure, obliviously more interested in comfort not power.
Modifications
Edelbrock 4 barrel manifold and 4 barrel Holley, Disc brake front end, extractors and duel 2 1/2" exhaust, custom Ford 12 slot rims, 14" centres on 15" rims. Talladega black outs, Aussie GT mirrors.
