History
This is not so much History of this car but the reason for the purchase, I've had the car for 3 months and used less than $30.00 of petrol and yet traveled almost 3000 kilometers. Most of my driving these days consists of short trips of between 5 and 40 kilometers so when the car is at home it's on charge. My home has Solar panels and battery storage so the majority of my power for home and the car comes free from the sun. As Solar and batteries continue to drop in price i will be fitting more Solar panels and batteries as to create more power and do away with power bills completely.
My wife still can't believe we don't need to put petrol in every week. i love the car but cant wait till Hyundai do an electric Santa Fe, my old Santa Fe had so much more gear and was far better quality than the Mitsubishi.
