History
Purchased the bike in May 2021 as a project and to complete my learners and get my probationary licence. The bike came with very little information and many problems with the previous owner picking it up as a "barn find" with the bike being in storage for 10 years.
The bike is a 1989 Yamaha FZR250 2KR that is a grey import and was imported to Australia in 1996. The bike will have a pretty basic restoration to start off with as its in need of a tidy up and a few things replaced and fixed.
Modifications
The bike is stock besides the Danmoto exhaust and heat wrapping.
The plan for the bike is to keep it in the original late 80s styling and to bring it back to what it would of looked like when new.
