History
Owned by me for 16 years, previous two owners from new, the past two have seen the old girl get an extensive refurbishment, mechanically and cosmetically. The car was well and truly worn, the engine was shot, big ends very bad, head cracks, you name it. I had to get in there and do something or lose it. Fortunately I have had as a member of The Motorist Vehicle Enthusiasts Club here in Darwin access to a good shed, and lots of very wise advice and knowledgeable help from a dedicated group of great club members. It’s still ongoing but getting closer to driving the car will hopefully have a fantastic new lease on life and provide many happy hours of motoring pleasure!
Modifications
Increased piston size up from 85mm to 90mm making it a 2175CC spec motor.
