Bought this Cooper S brand new in 1969.
Modifications
This car was a very modified Cooper S. Was a road car with basically a full race engine. Bored to 1310cc, full race Wade 176o camshaft, fully balanced engine, 45mm Weber carb, BMC special tuning parts straight cut close ratio gearbox, works extractors and big bore exhaust, lightened flywheel, modified head and much more, too much to list. Was a very exciting car to drive and had V8 beating performance in its day. Car was sold and the engine went into a race car. By the way not me in the driver's seat I am the passenger in that pic.
