History
Mmmmmmmmmmm;
This was a car that my father's best friend bought brand new.
When I was 16 my father asked me what sort of car I would like to have for a first car.
Stupid question to ask a 16yr old.
I was so impressed with the spacious interior and the ride of this vehicle (Hydralastic suspension) and the idea of front wheel drive transverse engine set up; never having seen one before (grew up with chev's) that I told dad this is the car for me.
Within the first month of driving it I managed to mow down a road sign on a corner (rainy day front wheel drive fare bit of acceleration won't turn ooops).
About a month after this incident trying to keep up with mates who had HK & HQ 6cyl doing a burnout tore a rubber uni-joint apart (tow truck time)
From then on I showed a little more respect for it, until about 15yrs ago when it was kicked out of the shed into the weather to make room for a resto project, Hence the photo's.
BEST BLOODY RIDING CAR THAT I HAVE EVER OWNED.
I now have a holden VF calais V (doesn't ride as smooth, sorry holden)
