History
Vehicle was purchased in 1987 and could best be described as a 'Basket Case' It was relocated to a farming and grazing property near Moree in north western NSW and that is where it stayed for approximately 30 years.
Over that time, it became a haven for rats and mice who just loved the upholstery and electrical wiring etc.
A decision was made to finally restore this Alfa Classic and the vehicle was relocated to Armidale in 2013.
Greg Beaton of Beatos Restos took on the task of panel work etc at his Armidale workshop. Panels were sourced from Classic Alfa of UK.
The next stage of Engine and Gearbox/Transmission rebuild plus internal fit out along with electrical work was assigned to QV Automotive of Canberra.
A decision to change the colour and 'jazz up' the appearance was made, and Guyra Smash Repairs of New England took on this task to repaint in an eye catching Rosso Amaranto shade.
The end result is very eye catching as can be evidenced by checking out my Garage which features the 1970 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV Veloce.
Check it out to note the total transformation.
