History
This Commodore belonged to my uncle who bought it new in 1982. I bought it off him 12 months ago (2011) as I have been after it since the early 1990's.
Back when he had it, it still had the 2850 six cylinder engine, and travelled 281,000 klms and has 15" wheels with SLX wheel trims.
Modifications
It is in original condition - with the factory GMH-added GTS style colour-coded steering wheel. Only modification was a 2:78 LSD diff with rear disc brakes and the 208 engine from my old VC Sport.
I have plans to add: Pacemaker extractors; remote keyless entry & security system; Kenwood CD player; and fire-extinguisher. I am also thinking of adding my old 16" VC SLE wheels, colour-coded (Tiger Mica) to match the stripe on the side of the vehicle.
Paint is starting to fade on the bonnet, and I would also like to black out the tops of the doors, and tint the windows. Other than this, it will remain original.
