History
Started life as a 1300 XL 2DR sedan. Made into an Escort Mexico tribute rally car with Burton re-worked 1660 x flow motor, 5 speed sierra box, fully functioning Cibie Oscar and super Oscar driving lights, upgraded alternator, strut brace, beefed suspension, UK 13 x 7 minilights
Modifications
MECHANICAL SPEC.
• 1660 Burton high compression cross flow engine. Rebuilt. Fast road cam, Burton.
• Twin 40 DCOE Weber carbs. Fully rebuilt slides jets etc.
• Big valve head.
• Janspeed exhaust and extractors, full system
• Sierra 5 speed type 9 close ratio gearbox.
• Capri struts and four pot brake calipers 9” rear drums. As per later RS models.
• Suspension poly bushed throughout.
• Burton quick steering rack. All parts NOS or refurbished.
• Breather system with burton catch can.
• Battery relocated to boot area. The list goes on......
TRIM & BODY.
• Presents to show standard full Mexico clubman trim.
• Correct Ford steering wheel and RS centre.
• Brand new contour clubman front seats. And frames “tilt” From classic trim UK. Very expensive.
• Perfect dash top. 6 dial dash.
• CD player FM radio with quality rear speakers.
• 5 speed RS gear nob.
• AVO spot lights brackets 2 up 2 down.

• New Brand new minilite 7x13 alloys with recent 185/ 60 /13 tyres.
