History
First released by SS Cars Ltd. in 1935, production of their Jaguar saloons was recontinued by the (renamed) Jaguar Car company post-war until 1949. This 3.5 litre example was first registered in Sydney in early 1949. The second owners purchased it in 1969 when it had covered 29000 miles, and used it carefully until they fulfilled my dream in early 2003, at less than 46000 miles. In its 72 years, it has had some engine work, a new (wooden) floor, carpet, radiator and exhaust, and a repaint of the doors and guards, otherwise it is in original condition.
