I purchased this car in 1990 to replace my HT Premier with it's 2 speed powerglide and prodigious thirst for fuel. It was originally yellow with black arrow decal on the bonnet and multiple pinstripes along the flanks. It was my daily drive for 20 years, until I decided it was time for a bare metal respray and some minor customisation. About 4 years ago I had it stripped and repainted in Renault J37 Liquid Yellow, from the Renault Sport colour chart. We also removed all the spurious chrome other than window surrounds, and relocated the aerial to the roof. The current wheels are Sigma GSR 'pepperpots', powder coated in a semi matte black.
It runs a twin cam EFI motor from the Galant GSR with a Microtech ECU.
26 years on, and no plans to replace it :-)
