I bought this E39 from an elderly gentleman (2nd owner) in 2019 with 99k on the clock. Clearly, the vehicle had spent plenty of time in his garage. It developed a minor head gasket leak after 20k. The block was undamaged so I had the engine reconditioned by a friend in Melbourne rather than just pull the head. I'm glad I did.
