My business partner and I bought the rights to produce the Madison in Australia & NZ from GP Vehicles in the UK. We started selling them as kits, and as completed cars with VW, Subaru & Nissan engines.
After a few years, handicapped by lack of capital, we sold the molds and know-how to the Khouri brothers, who developed it further as the Bufori Madison.
I went to work for them until they went offshore. My partner also worked for them for a while, but left to do a major house renovation.
