History
I don’t know any of the history of this car before I bought it in 1986. I sold it to a friend in 1988, who drove it daily for years, before he donated it to a gentleman with cancer in the early 90’s. I regretted buying this car at first. I traded in my first car, a ZB Fairlane, so I could get a panel van, just because some of my mates had panel vans. It broke down on the way home from the car yard, overheated every other day. It had electric thermo fans fitted when I bought it, with the original engine fan removed. Thermo fans killed batteries like nothing I have ever seen before or since. So I took the thermos off, put an original engine fan back on it, and never had another problem with it. Only problem was the rear barn doors. I always wanted to convert it to a tail gate, but never got around to it.
