History
Car is one of only around 130 of this model delivered in Australia, making it rare an desirable by BMW enthusiasts. It is in original u********* condition, showing the signs of wear and use over its 30 year life. I believe these are arguably the best rear wheel drive platform ever built, making it a true driver's car and a joy to drive. I have competed in street sprints and hill climbs (QLD), and participate in regular track days at Marulan NSW.
Modifications
Nothing of significance. I have installed slightly lowered and up-rated front springs, and a mandrel bent single pipe exhaust system to replace the original twin pipe system. The tone and character of the exhaust is as good as the original. Apart from that, the car is completely standard.
