History
I purchased the car as stock standard 4.2L 4spd SS in 2001. It still had the SS 14inch Cheviot wheels!. The body was in good condition, mechanically it was in rather poor condition. It had just been painted, original SS seats and door cards had been swapped for mismatched beige coloured SL items. I put the car up on stands and over the next 2 years carried out a rebuild. Swapped the tired 4.2L engine and M21 4 speed gearbox for a rebuilt, modified VR EFI 5L and 5 speed. Suspension & brakes overhauled and upgraded, interior was re trimmed in dark claret velour, dash recovered, the list goes on..... Car has been on the road now since 2003, it was semi-retired from a daily to a weekend car a few years ago.
