History
The special edition Lotus Sport Exige S Sport 240 was limited to 6 cars for the 2007 model year and was only available for the Australian market, with each car having a unique build number; this car is number 1 of 6 and appeared at the Sydney Motor Show.
The model was available in two colours, both unique to this model; Blaze Orange metallic/Matt Black or Sapphire Black metallic/Chrome Orange. For the Australian market there was a further 1 Exige normally aspirated and 33 Exige S 220hp, so the special edition was the only 2007 Australian Exige with 240hp. It was not until the 2008 model year, that the Exige S was available with the factory optional performance pack which also had 240hp.
Modifications
As the car was a special edition the following factory fitted option packs were included; Touring/Touring Plus/Sport/Super Sport packs, air conditioning, limited slip differential, custom paint and trim, and Lotus Sport upgrades to 240hp. Traction and launch control are a feature of the Super Sport pack.
A custom, titanium exhaust system was subsequently fitted by Simply Sports Cars, Sydney.
