One of 3 Norax Sports Prototype cars bulit in Adelaide at the Norax light factory on Prospect Road.

This is the IB Davis car.
First raced in 1987 according to CAMS log book.
Raced at Mallala, AIR, Sandown, Calder Park.
Purchased by Adelaide based David Mackie in 1994.
Raced at Mallala & Winton between 1994 and 2006.
Achieved a number of Pole positions at Winton 1.30.94 sec and Race Lap record 1.31.54 sec in 2004 at Australian Historic Festival. Winner at Winton and many podium finishes.
A super car to drive due to ground effects tunnels on each side of tub.
Most enjoyable track was Winton long circuit.
Thank you to the various race engineers who enabled this vehicle to achieve a good turn of speed!
Modifications
Rear engine Group C2 Sports Prototype with Mazda 12A PP engine and 5 speed VW transaxle with Quaife LSD. Inboard shocks and pushrod suspension, fully rose jointed. Power to weight ratio, 280 BHP with 600 KG vehicle weight. Power band 5,500 RPM to 10,000 RPM with best power from 7,500 RPM.
