History
I purchased the car shell from a guy called Neville via ebay in outback Queensland in 2004. Good clean shell. The car was built with FUN in mind and my motivation came from other Mazda rotary cars I have owned in the past. Also growing up seeing Terry Lewis and Ric Shaw race were some early memories that I fondly remember in the Oran Park and Eastern Creek days. Upon receiving the car it was developed to compete in Targa Tasmania for 2006 in Thoroughbred Class collecting the Targa Trophy that year. Since then the car has be re engineered and upgraded to what it is today. The car has been outright in the top 15 of Classic cars in the past and won its class convincingly in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. The car is currently road registered and I am hoping to return it to Targa Tasmania in 2013 should I be able to find some support! Special thanks to Justin Kearns for all has hard work over the years and providing the "Tweak It" crew for our memorable trips to Tasmania.
The car has featured and been on covers of a few magazines and in 2010 Fast Fours travelled with us and covered the RX3 and Evo 9 for the journey.
