Purchased in April 2017 in Western Australia. Was only going to tidy it up, but one thing led to another and ended with a full Restoration. With the help of a few friends with the mechanical side, it was sandblasted, rust repaired, tray rebuilt, repaired and repainted in just over 2 years working nearly full time on it
Modifications
Motor 5 litre out of an EL Falcon with a mid size cam, roller rockers, roller cam followers with a Holly 600 carburettor. Gearbox Tremec T5 with modified rear extension housing to bring gear stick from back to front, fits in same place as old gearbox.Rear End out of an El Falcon on existing springs. Front end Mitsubishi L 300 cross member with AU stubs, hubs and calipers and BA power steer rack. Holden Astra electric power steer pump. 9 inch Power Booster and dual 1" bore master cylinder, VE Commodore Vacuum Pump
