History
I got given the car by the original owner when I was 16 years old , The deal was if I help him remove the car from his garage he would give the car to me free of charge.
I removed the original six cylinder engine and installed a tired 302 Cleveland, I also gave the rest a freshen up over the years. I soon replaced the 302 with a much healthier 302 with a 4 barrel carb and used the car as daily transport , the paint was getting very tired from years of daily use so I decided to strip the car and send it off to a panelshop for bodywork, 4 years later I got the car back, and painted the car myself at work as a second year apprentice spray painter ,
I shipped the car back home in my double garage for assembly and installed a 351 Cleveland and automatic and painted the gt blackouts
Soon the car was regsistered and on the road, the excitement soon turned to disappointment when the 351 spun a big end bearing and the motor had to be pulled, I installed a freshly built 408 stroker which made a modest 450hp, after years of success winning 4 Geelong all Ford days in the xa-xc category I decided to pull the engine again for a solid roller cam and manual transmission and entered the car at summernats 25 which I won top 60 street , this engine soon turned disipointing when a roller lifter failed the engine was not salvageable, I decided I store the car for 6 years till 2019 for a new engine which is a 408 roller arrow 4 bolt Cleveland which makes 630hp and upgraded the fuel system
