History
Purchased in poor to average condition, self nut and bolt restoration over a two and half year period with much of the works carried out in the garage.
Goal was to created a tough look old school muscle car without modifying the shape of the vehicle (no tubs and maintaining the original chassis) and able to be street driven rather than being a show car.
Modifications
Colour is Devil Yellow, with custom full leather interior including seats from a HSV coupe (rear seats are also bucket seats), carbon fibre dash with Auto Meter gauges.
454 Big block with upgraded internals and Brodix heads, twin Edelbrock four barrel carbies with power delivered via a street/strip T400 and 9'' diff with 31 spline axles and Truetrac.
Rack and pinion steering, front coil overs, rear lowered leaf spring with the vehicle sitting on 15x10(r) and 15x6(f) Centreline Convo-Pros with Micky Thompson Sportsman Pro rubber.
