1983 Toyota AE86

I Bought this little car about 6 and a half years ago pretty much bog stock standard except for a set of alloy wheels and a mis matched front quarter panel. I got it for such a good price that the minor scrapes from a meeting with a guard rail and apparently junk 4ac engine that everyone loves to hate i didnt care as it was mine! i can turn this car into whatever i want, its my blank canvas, its a dream car of mine since a very young age and now i have my own and i absolutely love my car.

So far i have upgraded the suspension to a coilover front end, replaced the bushes and adde a pair of 4 pot brake calipers off a series 3 FC RX-7. I have added a couple of Bride seats, 1 fixed back for the driver and a rather tall bolstered reclinable for the passenger, although mostly aesthetic they do offer some functional benefits when a spirited drive through the winding roads of the Adelaide Hills. Other aesthetic features are a collection of period correct wheels from longchamps to watanabes, mesh wheels and the full set of standard wheels and others depending on my mood for the day i have a set of wheels for most occasions. Not too distant future plans will see a 16V 4AGE dropped in to power this little weapon! this will be accompanied by a set of 4 Carburettors and a MSD ignition kit. A new Diff and some updates to the rear suspension will see the running gear taken care of and a bit of body tweaking with a lick of paint will see me happy to call this car finished..... for now!
