History
My dad purchased the car in about 2005 as a rough but complete running car, he spent the next 4 years restoring it to a much nicer version of its former self. The car was stolen from my Dad's carport late in 2011(?) And we thought it would never be seen again. Dad bought another 1970 Mini K with the insurance payout not long after. This little car ended up getting impounded by the police for being parked in a no standing zone due to having run out of fuel. Dad bought the car back from the insurance company and gave it to me. I spent some time cleaning the car back up to how it was when Dad had it and now it just spends it's days waiting for the next drive, carshow or just time to be tinkered with. I've driven in to NSW for the Australian Mini Nationals 4 times, towed it up to Summernats and also drove it across to Adelaide for the 2019 Bay to Birdwood which celebrated 50 years of the Mighty Mini.
