History
This motorcycle looks a bit odd but it is a joy to ride. This machine runs well but just needs a bit of a tidy up (commencing in the New Year). The original Amal pre-monobloc carb was set aside in favour of a 324/300 series, ex Ebay, which was the best $86 I've ever spent on a motorcycle.
Modifications
The bike has been fitted with an electronic, Beam Spark, redundant-spark ignition which has done away with the distributor. The distributor housing now only houses the points which are required to fire the ignition unit.
