History
This was when I was going through a a poor phase and I just needed to get from A to B. The golf did it, until one day it didn't. I had noticed it was overheating a lot despite giving it plenty of Techtaloy to keep it cool. One day instead of starting it make me a latte. Well at least that was the colour of the oil. Head gasket, time to go. But even with chopped springs and travelling at 100 km/h, it's ability to swerve out of the way of a huge roo, meant I stayed alive long enough to join the Shannons Club and let you know about it's brilliant handling.
